Executive Physical

A PHYSICAL FOR THE MODERN AGE: DIVING DEEP

At Agenixs, our executive clients demand more from us than a traditional physical. They want a Modern Age Physical — an exam and technologically-advanced testing that focuses on their health and well-being, optimizing how they look and feel, and giving them a clean bill of health for another positive, productive year.

So we’ve developed the 21st-century Executive Physical — one that focuses on anti-aging, longevity, appearance, physical and mental health, and reaching and maintaining peak performance day after day, year after year. This is an Executive Physical that only an integrative physician can provide: We use the most advanced testing and technology, determining the state of every aspect of your health in real time — from brain scans that evaluate brain function to innovative metabolic testing to help you reach and maintain your optimum weight, to the most cutting-edge cancer screening available today. This is a full-day event, diving deep into your every cell.

Actionable test results

Everything we test for we can treat, utilizing our extensive library of health services: nutritional and lifestyle coaching, stress management, sleep evaluation and improvement, Hormone and Telomere Therapy, Stem Cell Therapy and preventative cancer therapies.

“I can’t believe anyone would get an executive physical anyplace else. You are so thorough, and so knowledgeable, and I feel complete confidence in your ability to figure out what’s going on with me and then fix it.”

The process

INITIAL TESTING
We begin the process with a comprehensive, in-depth, detailed physical, examining your body from head to toe. We use hundreds of advanced laboratory tests conducted by True Health Diagnostics, an innovative diagnostics company focused on preventing chronic disease. These high-level tests help us more accurately diagnose, manage, and prevent the progression of cardiovascular diseases, genetic disorders, diabetes, and other metabolic conditions.
BRAIN FUNCTION
CNS Vital Signs Procedure
This neurocognitive test assesses a broad spectrum of brain performance. Through these tests, we can determine your strengths and weaknesses in brain function, including memory, attention, decision making, reflexes, and more.
HEART FUNCTION
Electrocardiogram
An EKG measures the heart’s rate and whether it is regular or irregular. Electrocardiograms can also be used to show the electrical conduction through the heart’s chambers, which can be helpful in determining whether the heart muscle has been damaged, and may also identify previously undetected heart attacks.
Carotid Ultrasound
This test measures the thickness of the walls of the carotid artery in the neck, and provides a benchmark of heart and vascular risk. Carotid arteries are usually narrowed by a buildup of plaque, which is made up of fat, cholesterol, calcium, and other substances that circulate in the bloodstream. Early diagnosis and treatment of a narrowed carotid artery can decrease stroke risk.
Abdominal Aorta Ultrasound
An abdominal ultrasound screens for an aortic aneurysm, a weakened, bulging spot in your abdominal aorta, the artery that runs through the middle of your abdomen and supplies blood to the lower half of your body. Early detection of an aneurysm can save your life.
Calcium Coronary Scan
A coronary calcium scan, also known as a heart scan, is a specialized X-ray test that provides pictures of your heart that helps us detect and measure calcium-containing plaque in the arteries. This can help identify possible coronary artery disease before you have signs and symptoms.
SphygmoCor
This new technology is the best non-invasive way to measure the blood pressure near your heart. The SphygmoCor system helps us individualize care for patients with hypertension, renal disease, COPD, diabetes, and heart failure, among other diseases and conditions.
LUNG FUNCTION
Spirometry Test
A spirometer is used to assess how well your lungs work by measuring how much air you inhale, how much you exhale and how quickly you exhale. Spirometry is used to diagnose asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and other conditions that affect breathing.
THYROID FUNCTION
Immune System Testing
Through a specialized blood analysis, we monitor the decrease in the natural killer cells that fight off new infections and cancers. By assessing the defensive strength of your immune system, we can improve your ability to fight off disease.
IMMUNE FUNCTION
Thyroid Ultrasound
Thyroid ultrasound uses sound waves to produce pictures of the thyroid gland within the neck, and can detect lumps and nodules otherwise missed on a standard physical exam.
BODY FUNCTION
Body Composition
Your body fat percentage, and more specifically your visceral fat, is the only true weight measurement of health. Rather than focusing on weight and scales, we set the industry standard with our GE Lunar Prodigy Advanced DXA. This low dose x-ray analysis is the gold standard for health assessment since it precisely measures the fat, muscle, and bone of each segment of the body.
Bone Density Test
Using the cutting-edge GE Lunar iDXA bone densitometer, we measure your bone density and provide you with therapy options that keep your bones strong and healthy.
CANCER SCREENING
ONCOblot Test
We screen for early signs of cancer using the ONCOblot blood test, which helps detect early forms of cancer by identifying the ENOX2 protein; this protein exists only on the surface of malignant cancer cells. Early cancer detection provides each individual with treatment options that are much more expansive than traditional methods or therapy.
GENETIC ANALYSIS
Genomic Testing
We analyze your genome through a sample of your saliva, which gives us your personal genetic blueprint. We then utilize our highly advanced software program to assist our team in evaluating your DNA and what this blueprint means for you. We can then actually reengineer the way your genes are expressed through specific supplementation.
Telomere Analysis
This cutting-edge blood test measures your telomeres — which shorten as you age — providing a DNA analysis of your chromosomal age. Lengthening telomeres may help to boost immune and hormone function, the regenerative processes, and help you live longer and healthier.
TOXIN ANALYSIS
Heavy Metal Testing
Through Doctor’s Data — a specialist and pioneer in essential and toxic elemental testing — we screen for heavy metals that may be toxic to the body and disrupt the balance of essential nutrients.

For Women

Testosterone Therapy

Men need testosterone to live well—not just for optimal mental and physical health, but to prevent chronic illnesses. With years of experience evaluating and treating low T, Dr. Savage customizes each treatment, using testosterone pellets or injections to optimize effective and safe improvements in health, energy, stamina, sex drive, and performance.

Testosterone Pellets

Testosterone pellets are the only method of testosterone therapy that delivers consistent, physiologic levels of testosterone, thus avoiding fluctuations in hormone levels—and in mood and energy—that can be caused by other methods of delivery. Lasting from four to six months, pellets are the most effective, safest, and convenient form of testosterone replacement.

How Pellets Work
Each Tic-Tac-sized pellet contains crystalline testosterone. During a brief and painless in-office procedure, pellets are implanted under the skin in the upper buttock area. The incision is so small it can be closed with a piece of tape. Once implanted, the pellets deliver a stable, steady dose of testosterone.

Proven Results
Studies show that pellets are the superior form of testosterone replacement therapy in increasing lean body mass—muscle strength and bone density—and decreasing fat mass; and in improving libido, sexual response, and performance. Proven benefits include increased strength, coordination and physical performance, and improvement in concentration and memory. The change starts within days. There is more data to support the use of pellets than any other method of testosterone therapy.

Injections

Injected into the thigh, glute, or deltoid muscles, testosterone is absorbed directly into the bloodstream. One advantage of injections is flexibility—dosages can be changed with each injection, if necessary, to achieve optimal concentrations. Administered weekly, biweekly, or bi-monthly, testosterone injections can boost energy, sex drive, and quality of erections; increase lean muscle mass; decrease body fat; boost memory and concentration; and relieve anxiety and depression.

Testosterone Therapy: Safe and Effective

What You Should Know
  • Low testosterone is a well-established medical condition that negatively affects male sexuality, reproduction, general health, and quality of life.
  • Symptoms and signs of low testosterone occur as a result of low levels of testosterone and may benefit from treatment, regardless of whether there is an identified underlying origin.
  • Testosterone therapy for men with low testosterone is effective and evidence-based.
  • There is no established testosterone level that reliably distinguishes those men who will respond to treatment from those who will not.
  • There is no scientific basis for withholding testosterone therapy to older adult males.
  • Testosterone therapy does not increase the risk of prostate cancer.
  • Testosterone therapy does not increase the risks of heart attacks or heart disease.
  • Testosterone therapy has benefits for cardiometabolic disease, including diabetes
While there are risks associated with testosterone therapy, these are generally related to improper dosing; these risks include acne, blood clots, hair loss, and breast development. With decades of experience in administering appropriate testosterone therapy, we encounter these side effects in our patients infrequently.
